Ensuring basic facilities to the poor

Many landless poor communities are surviving in harsh climates, poor economic conditions, health crises, and vulnerable situations in our country. These communities and tribes are in a constant search and hope of basic facilities and better opportunities to get out of poverty.

As a result, our organization got the motivation and inspiration to support and uplift this part of our society.

Many people in our country are still living in slums with few basic facilities like water and electricity. This large number of the poor population can’t be overlooked to provide a transition from low-living to better living conditions.

Solving hunger problem

Over 2500 children under the age of 5 die every day because of hunger and malnutrition. Malnutrition passes from generation to generation. Mothers who are malnourished produce children who are stunted and underweight. To reduce poverty in such communities, the organization works by ensuring balanced and sustainable growth. Our group of activists dedicatedly works for community kitchens to feed the poor.

Cleanliness and hygiene

5% of the Indian population lives below the poverty line. However, the actual number of people living below the poverty line is much higher than expected. Most households cannot afford sanitary pads. It gives rise to many life-threatening diseases. Volunteers of Bhimpath connect and help rag pickers and garbage collectors. The volunteers are working to develop a waste disposal system in these areas as a step towards clean living.

Empowerment opportunities

Empowerment of women, the downtrodden, tribal people, etc is a major goal of our helping society. The team creates awareness, undertakes projects in collaboration with civic societies, and promotes social issues. Technological and legal assistance is provided for rural development. Women empowerment is among one of the most prominent issues in our country. This has been supported especially in rural areas by creating self-help groups and creating awareness and promoting education for women and rural children.

Rural development activities

Or society timely sets up medical campaigns in remote areas. Volunteers go door-to-door to provide awareness about maternal health, vaccinations, and run health campaigns. These development activities promote caste equality and provide legal aid to the rural poor. Societies act as a mediator between the government helping organizations and rural people. They make the government help reach needy people.

Raising concerns on social issues

Society helps in highlighting the social issues in poor communities. They encourage people to speak on such issues. Even people are hesitant to speak about social issues like mental health, child marriage, etc. Volunteers work to establish standards for social equality among rural communities and help people in resolving issues at their level. We build close relationships with these societies to draw on their local knowledge and understand their problems in a better way.

Millions are living in remotest villages facing a black future. Reducing poverty is a critical challenge and helping societies has an important role to play. Providing these basic facilities will help in improving their livelihoods and living conditions. Bhimpath organization is dedicated to providing sustainable growth and upliftment to poorer sections of our societies. Together we can make the lives of millions of people better!
